Dr John Primavesi (m)

Dr Primavesi is our Senior Partner, having joined the Practice in 1985.  He is a GP with Special Interest in ENT.  He is married to a doctor in another local practice and they have two adult children.  Dr Primavesi and his wife both enjoy playing golf at Parkstone Golf Club and at Saunton in Devon.

Dr Richard Smith (m)

Dr Smith has been a Partner since 1991.  His medical interests include children's learning disabilities and dermatology.  He undertakes training of final year medical students from Southampton University from time to time and is grateful for your understanding if a student is present at the time of your consultation.

Dr Edward Sheridan (m)

Dr Sheridan joined the Practice in 1994.  His medical interests include orthopaedic medicine, exercise medicine and advanced cardiac life support.  He is an enthusiastic trainer of our Registrars.  He is the GP Appraisal Lead for Bournemouth and Poole.  His leisure activities include karate, kayaking and cycling.

Dr Mandy Fautley (f)

Dr Fautley joined the Practice in 2008 before becoming a Partner in 2009.  She is one of our two trainers and brings huge enthusiasm to surgery life.  She specialises in Womens Health and is one of our two Child Protection leads.  She is married with two girls and enjoys taking advantage of the New Forest and surrounding countryside.

Dr Amanda Glenister (f)

Dr Amanda GlenisterBM. MRCGP. DRCOG. DFSRH Qualified 2003 Southampton

Dr Glenister trained at Parkstone and moved to Surrey after completing her training..  Thankfully, she returned to us before becoming a Partner in 2010.  She is taking a special interest in the treatment of Diabetes and is one of our two Child Protection leads.  She is married and lives locally.  She brings youthful expertise to our Practice team.

Dr Sarah Atkinson (f)

MB. BS. DFSRH, Qualified 1971 London

Dr Atkinson retired from being a Partner of the Practice in April 2008 but enjoys maintaining her interest in General Practice by providing a Well Woman Clinic on Wednesday afternoons.Dr_S_Atkinson.JPG

General Practice Registrars

Are fully qualified medical doctors, gaining experience in General Practice prior to applying for their own partnership. Dr Sheridan and Dr Fautley are qualified Registrar Trainers and they would usually have a GP Registrar in the Practice under their tutorage.
